Public Relations Internship
The student will support his/her mentor with the following:
- Managing inventory and trafficking samples to and from magazines and stylists on a daily basis;
- Tracking and scanning credits and maintaining press books;
- Preparing for market appointments, press previews and various events;
- Researching and building relationships with new magazines, blogs and other media outlets;
- Assisting with written pitch and press release development;
- Offering team support across all aspects of daily task.
Public Relations
Responsibilities will include:
- PR/communications and marketing / social media efforts;
- Content editing and managing;
- Working with the development of our software platform (learning how the company’s platform works and providing ideas / feedback for improvements).
Public Relations Internship
Back up functions to:
- Planning, developing and implementing PR Strategies;
- Reviewing targeted publications for client placements;
- Assisting the Communications and Marketing teams with sending out samples and all mailings
- Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople;
- Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media.
Public Relations Internship
Support role to:
- Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports;
- Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;
- Devising and coordinating photo opportunities;
- Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
- Maintaining and updating information on the organisation’s website;
- Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives;
